The Experience Behind the Method

The approach I use wasn't designed in theory...or drawn from textbooks...it draws on over 48 years of engagement in real operational environments. I spent 21 years in the Air Force developing the policies, plans, and procedures that governed everything from base operations to disaster response.

I then spent 27 years in senior executive roles across federal contracting companies — as President, VP of Operations, Chief of Staff, and Chief Advisor to the CEO — where his consistent contribution was building the operational clarity that allowed organizations to perform under scrutiny.

What you'll find in the methodology below is a direct product of that experience — shaped by the environments where unclear processes have real, measurable consequences.

Why Documentation Done Right Actually Matters

Most organizations already know what they're supposed to do. What they often lack is documentation that captures it clearly enough for staff to follow and auditors to verify. That gap — between what leadership knows and what's actually written down — is where compliance problems start and where institutional knowledge walks out the door.

I believe good documentation closes that gap without creating new burdens. Federal requirements can be written in plain language. Procedures can reflect how work actually gets done rather than how someone else's organization did it. Policies can be specific to your environment, your people, and your compliance obligations — not adapted from a template that was never built for you.

It's a straightforward standard. Every document I deliver either meets it or it isn't finished.

Streamlining Your Daily Staff Work

TNG transforms complex federal requirements into simplified, repeatable daily actions for your workforce.

Analyze & Mapping

I examine current staff habits to find operational gaps and compliance risks.

At the end of this phase you'll have a clear, prioritized picture of where your operational gaps are and a roadmap for closing them — before I write a single document.

Design & Standardize

I work with your team to write practical policies and SOPs that align with your organizational culture.

You'll come out of this phase with a reviewed, approved set of policies and procedures that reflect how your organization actually works — not generic templates adapted from somewhere else.

Document & Inform

I create clear desktop guides and manuals so employees have the right instructions.

The deliverable is a set of plain-language desk guides and operational manuals your staff can pick up and use on day one — clear enough for a new hire, complete enough for a federal desk audit.

Rollout Planning

I deliver documents formatted for rollout and build a simple maintenance schedule into every project.

You'll finish with a rollout plan and a simple review cycle built in — so your documentation stays current as your business grows, and doesn't sit on a shelf after the project closes.

Ready to Put This Into Practice?

If your organization is ready to move from informal processes to documented, audit-ready systems, we'd like to hear about it. Start with a conversation — no commitment required.
